sheep, meme
Uh, on Friday I had better things to post about. Maybe this is better for Monday anyway, idk. Also, these links have been kind of random.

Feminism and other Animals.

This ‘women in tech’ debate is actually two separate debates, and should be treated as such Caroline McCarthy breaks it down twicewise:
1) why aren't more women learning science and tech at education level?
2) Why aren't more female engineers at the leadership level in the industry?

Feminism, Stereotypes, and my War of Tweets with More! Magazine
How classy is this? Seriously, people using Twitter professionally, do it with some professionalism!

How to keep Someone With You Forever - by issendai is an interesting break down of abusive relationships; not just romantic ones, but employer/employee relations and friendships. I've always picked my romantic partners with better descretion, but if anyone's wondering why I hated my time at CCK? Here it is.

Fuck That!
A fucking old post, this one.
For fucking serious, though, for many of us, we fuck up fucking by using the word in a way we don’t support. I fuck, you fuck, we fuck, and fucking has done a lot for us, and fucking deserves our support. Fucking deserves to be free of the connotations of unfairness, negativity and aggression; free from the construction of harm, devaluation and ruin. Fucking deserves to stand for what it stands for. And I stand for fucking. Free fucking!

Massive Lithium Deposit could alter Afghanistan's Economy
Or y'know, people could fight wars over it. Let's be positive though. (heh, positive, geddit?)

Mooning Hell's Angels and choosing a bulldozer for a getaway vehicle are stylish activities, but there's no excuse for throwing puppies.

That lithium/mineral deposit story? It's about 20 years old, suddenly the media is all over a survey done in 2007ish that reconfirms something we knew years ago (Well, not me personally, but).

The problem isn't the wealth there, it's getting it out from under the mountains then getting it (or anything else) somewhere useful. Even without it being an area rather prone to conflict, it's a pita to get anything in or out of there easily.

Good that it's there though, if our Govts insist on destroying their main agricultural products every year...
