Best Holiday Ever?

It'd be nice if lunar eclipses happened when a) there were fewer clouds b) it was actually nighttime in the reasonable part of the world.

I didn't see it anyway, for I was in the sub basement. You know, that place where the fossils live? I was actually looking at fossils! Not for my PhD, that would be sensible. Nope, tomorrow the museum is paying host for a couple of hours to a private family tour, in which some lucky (and presumably rich) American family is getting behind the scenes views of all sorts of London attractions. And the museum is one of them.

So tomorrow I will be showing Americans around the sub-basement, showing and talking about: Archaeopteryx (cast); Metriorhynchus; Rhamphosuchus; Gorgosaurus; Tarbosaurus; Iguanodon; Lambeosaurus and Protoceratops.

And I can't wait. I just wonder who you have to sleep with to get a personal tour like that.
