Fuck LJ, let's talk about ME.

I have felt mildly and yet constantly crappy for a week now. It started with a migraine last week and really isn't getting any better. I thought it might be periody, but it has been a week and my genitalia still haven't started bleeding.

In the mornings I'm stomachy, I'm feeloing faint and easily distracted, and headaches come and go. Oh, and I'm so tired all the gorram time. Physically, it's more a permament case of "meh" then and "Oh FUCK it hurts", but 'meh' for a week is enough.

Strangely enough it wasn't bad at the InnerRents' place, which made Bing suggest it might be the ventilation at the museum, which it may well be, actually. I thought it might be allergies to the soft drinks I have with lunch, because the faintness tends to come on in the afternoon. I had juice today though: no dice.

I don't know what's wrong, but I'm hoping it's just my uterus failing. It sucks.

First person to suggest I'm pregnant gets a big gay internet wedgie.

Well damn, there goes my witty comment for the day.

What about your eyesight? If you are looking at computers all day, bad eyesight can give you headaches and naseaue. Though it could also be allergies. I've had those symptoms from both.

*hugs* Hope it gets better soon!

...this better not be because of the time I scratched the lens walking into a pillar because I was drunk.

Well, if you hadn't been who you are, that's what i would have suggested.

Go Bing!

But, uh...stress?

Museum ventilation seems unlikely, since you've worked there regularly for years and not had this sort of problem before. Stress or overtiredness is certainly a possibility - maybe try having a chilled weekend, and if it's still the same on Monday, get a doctor's appointment?

I'm going to the GP today so he can tell me I'm hypochondriac and prescribe paracetamol.

and needing to pee, neither of which really apply to me all that much, so we'll see.
30th-May-2007 06:39 pm (UTC) - I just thought of something which is a bit serious.

Anemia. The headaches aren't technically a symptom, but headaches can be caused by light-headedness which can be related to the symptoms.

Ironically about seven years ago I had a very, very close friend, a graduate student in physical anthropology, who was stricken with a very severe case of anemia that resulted in hospitalization. She wasn't aware of the symptoms until it got very bad, because she pushed them aside and kept on going.

The symptoms for it are very nebulous, but they can be for all anemia cases, and I definitely recommend a doctor's appointment.

Drinking enough water? Getting enough iron? Sleep?

*Totally does not suggest pregnancy*

On a more serious note, thyroid? Get thee to a doctor, anyway.

Spent a few seconds there wondering if 'ventilation at the museum' was a euphemism.
