Yesterday afternoon I went to the GP, leaving the door just after putting in my mooncup for the first time this month. Needless to say, the trip into town was hell, because the headaches and faintness were not just worse, but coupled with cramps and nausea. By the time I made the doctors, and was told I'd been taken off their register for not still living at the same address I lived when I was an undergraduate (despite the fact that I've been there as a postgraduate), I was too tired and near-tears to protest. But they kind of noticed and registered me as an emergency patient and sent me to a doctor.
The doctor had no idea what's wrong with me. He suggested labyrinthitis, but I said it wasn't that kind of dizzy. So he said come back next week.
I'm... OK today. Not perfect, but not bad. Little bit faint, little bit overwarm, little bit of Friday apathy. So I'm in the museum, reading rather basic papers, before piratical shenanigans tonight. I'm guessing it's a virus combined with PMT, stress and the bloody weather.
Cineworld at Wood Green is showing the fillum at every hour from 10.00. rowanberries
are, AFAIK, staying at mine tonight, so how about we aim for the 19.00 showing?
This means meeting at Wood Green tube station at half six
, if you want to come over to mine or see if we're in town (and there's no reason we wouldn't be in town, except maybe we don't want to), then phone me first. Ditto everyone else who might want to hang out.
Drop a comment here if I'm to expect you.
