Yo ho ho and a bottle of pills.

Yesterday afternoon I went to the GP, leaving the door just after putting in my mooncup for the first time this month. Needless to say, the trip into town was hell, because the headaches and faintness were not just worse, but coupled with cramps and nausea. By the time I made the doctors, and was told I'd been taken off their register for not still living at the same address I lived when I was an undergraduate (despite the fact that I've been there as a postgraduate), I was too tired and near-tears to protest. But they kind of noticed and registered me as an emergency patient and sent me to a doctor.

The doctor had no idea what's wrong with me. He suggested labyrinthitis, but I said it wasn't that kind of dizzy. So he said come back next week.

I'm... OK today. Not perfect, but not bad. Little bit faint, little bit overwarm, little bit of Friday apathy. So I'm in the museum, reading rather basic papers, before piratical shenanigans tonight. I'm guessing it's a virus combined with PMT, stress and the bloody weather.

So, tomorrow.

Cineworld at Wood Green is showing the fillum at every hour from 10.00. rowanberries and requiem2adream are, AFAIK, staying at mine tonight, so how about we aim for the 19.00 showing?

This means meeting at Wood Green tube station at half six. avariel_wings, if you want to come over to mine or see if we're in town (and there's no reason we wouldn't be in town, except maybe we don't want to), then phone me first. Ditto everyone else who might want to hang out.

Drop a comment here if I'm to expect you.

Bbbbut I haven't seen PotC II yet. I know, I know, don't kill me, I just haven't got around to it. I mean, I own I, but...

Definite possible on that one though, Jennie leaves at 11.30am depends on whether I've managed to wake up.

Hope they manage to figure something out or it clears up.

Oh. Right.

In which case you'll just have to come over beforehand so we can watch Dead Man's Chest at mine, won't you?

Now, see, that sounds like a plan. Southgate tube, right?
1st-Jun-2007 11:56 am (UTC)

Takes about an hour from S.Ken, don't know about wherever you're dropping SB off at. Give us a call, cause we may be eating lunch
1st-Jun-2007 12:07 pm (UTC)
Mind an additional?
1st-Jun-2007 12:11 pm (UTC)

Phone me when you get to Southgate.

What time should I be looking at. And I may very well end up tagging along with Mat
1st-Jun-2007 12:26 pm (UTC)
Movie is two hoursish, I think, Mat's coming up after SB's buggered orf. So, afternoonish? We'll be around all day, I imagine.

And, in an annoying twist, my family has requested my presence tomorrow, as my little sister is visiting. So it looks now like I won't be able to make it. Will text you if things change. Gah.

I hope your walrus buggers off soon.
1st-Jun-2007 11:23 am (UTC)
Noted 630 wood green. Will phone you if I can't make it. How much is it and do we need to book tickets in advance?

Hope you feel better soon!

£7 for an adult, less than that for a student.

Still cheaper than the centre, I reckon.
1st-Jun-2007 12:11 pm (UTC)
Will be at work till 7:15 at least. Bugger. Enjoy it.
1st-Jun-2007 12:52 pm (UTC)

I will be there at Wood Green at half past six, though coming to watch DMC with you beforehand also sounds tempting. What time should I come over if that's happening?
1st-Jun-2007 01:24 pm (UTC)
I need to fix an actual time?

Shall we say... two? Because I know what it's like trying to get people oput of the flat.
1st-Jun-2007 04:41 pm (UTC)
*grins* Two should be fine. I'll call you when I get to Southgate tube, because I guarantee I'll get lost if I try and find my own way.

Yay doctors. I'm still waiting for the "Star Trek" days when they can wave a salt-shaker around your head for a few seconds and tell you every little thing that's wrong with you.
2nd-Jun-2007 12:35 pm (UTC)
I'll be at WG at half 6! :)
