I just spent the last ten minutes in hysterics at my desk.

i'm mocking you
Liquorice Allsorts are SRS BZNS

I dedicate this link to everyone reading this who has a father.

And specifically those of you who can see their Dad doing the exact same thing.

British dads. I wouldn't change them for anything.

That is just lovely. I initially thought 'My dad would never do such a thing', then immediately thought of many behaviour instances that were just as barking in their own way.

... yep, my dad would definitely do that, ahaha. Not with Allsorts, but I'm sure he'd find his niche.

*dies* I guarantee you that's created a great deal of fun and amusement at Cadbury.

You know what! That post cheered me up no end.

British dads. I wouldn't change them for anything.

I totally agree

So funny! The office was once again filled with hysterical laughter. My mum is the one who sends the consumer complaints letters in my family. It made me remember the amount of trouble we had when the new window was a few degrees away from horizontal.

Irish Dad's the same. I can totally imagine my pops doing the same.

He does it for everything...especially tea and desserts!

Oh. Oh wow.

*is desperately trying not to crack up at work*

Thankfully, my father is not quite as barking as that, but I have had some bizarre arguments with him about a particular kind of bagged tea that he insists is the only acceptable bagged tea for his palate. It is a shop-brand orange pekoe of the absolute most generic type (we're not even talking Lipton, here). But I really doubt he would ever go so far as to write a series of letters of such a Daily Mail calibre as that poor LJ denizen's father.

LULZ.

(dude, that's just....... hilarious. I can't see my dad doing it, but I can see my grandparents both doing it!)

It's horrible, but this just made me want some licorice allsorts.

ZOMG she made a whole lj just for them?! I've been following the saga for a while now via metaquotes but this is much easier.

I swear, I don't even like liquorice but this makes me curious to see what all the fuss is about.

Children – aren’t they sweet?

Spending obsessive hours on the internet telling their friends all about their parents and the cute things they get up to!

My mates will get a good laugh out of that one. Unfortunately, MY daughters would never do such things, so I have no good tales to tell (or do I?).

Not that I know of. I'm sure you'd know if they did.
