Happy Birthday Roger and Miche!
How it Friday happen already?

- oh, yeah, cause I've been ill all week. Blegh.

OK, weekend plans:
Tonight: Millibrit Drinkings
the_croupier is in town, and we have settled on the Wincester Head Doric Arch in Euston from 6.30ish onwards. This pub is right in the Euston bus station, outside the train station, to the East.
Directions from the Euston tube escalators: head straight on from the escalator, around the shops and out of the doors next to WH Smith. Once outside, bear to the right towards a separate building. The Doric Arch is at the corner nearest the buses. If you hit a road, you've gone too far.
Directions from Euston Square underground: from the turnstyles, turn right and go up the stairs to ground level. Turn left and follow the Euston Road. It's 5 minutes walk to Euston Station, and the pub is on the far end of the bus area. Walk through the bus stops and the pub is overlooking the area.

I willhave my mobile with me. Email if you want the number.

Tomorrow: Alice Cooper Baybee! (also Motorhead and Joan Jett)
*pokes people* do we have meetup plans?

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I'm lucky I even remembered it, myself. ♥

hey hon, is this where people are all going for drinkies tonight? I get into London about 8.30pm (Paddington), so was hoping to meet up with people for a pint or 2!

Hope to see you later. I had a dream last night that I met you all in London when I arrived near Kings Cross in someones flat, but it all got very confusing, with Sneeze wanting go go to a pub in Camden, Sam had mumps (he said he has been ill this week, so that must have been why that came up) and as a result had put on about 3 stone and had a swollen face and Thespina arrived when I had to go and get my train back! It was all a bit mad to be honest!

See you later! Hugs.

I don't know about Real Life people- I'm meeting up with the internet folks, but I imagine the mad folk are also out in force. If you want to hang out with crazt internet people you're more than welcome.

I intend to come out for a beer (the beer is gay for me damnit!) and the Doric Head has a good range of ales. However, it depends if the crazy internet people have stolen half of the seats and flamed the rest. You never can tell with crazy internet people. Failing that, there's always... erm... elsewhere?

We could always form a breakaway group of crazy novel-writing people. Although your novel is not as cool as mine. Unless it has exploding space elevators. Exploding space elevators are cool.

No no, my novel is not as long as yours.

Mine has the Moebius Chasm, octobeer and, thanks to Nny, the Help Cheeseburger.

Hmph. I still maintain that an event that can be described as "like having someone crack a 50,000 kilometre whip with you at the end of it" > any cheeseburger, ever.
16th-Nov-2007 12:54 pm (UTC) - ALICE
No plans yet. Keep us posted.

BTW I think I have 2 fairly good spare seats. I should be able to collect them from box office on the night (they haven't arrived yet) so if anyone still needs a ticket then let me know. Happy to sell for face value plus £5 to cover booking fees.

BTW these are for tomorrow (Saturday)
16th-Nov-2007 04:40 pm (UTC) - Re: ALICE
oh, I might be very tempted to go myself! Joan Jett is a legend! I'll prob see you later in the pub then and I can find out from you. Don't post back to this message as I am soon getting on a train to London!
Hugs, Kits

I wouldn't necessarily want to live in London but the artists you get to see and the museum would make it totally worth it. *jealous*
