Victoria Line closures again.

EPIC FAIL, TfL.

Considering how reliant Londoners are on our public transport system, we don't half get let down by it a lot. What was the point in even opening the Victoria Line again if you're going to do that?

Is it just me noticing it more or have there actually been a lot more line closures just lately than in previous years? Seems that not a week goes by with full service these days.

I blame Ken. It's all his fault.

Actually, to be fair, it's him, but because there's shedloads of maintenence to carry out after years of neglect, etc. It's a bit weird it was mostly shut half of last year and now it's being shut again. Still, it's not completely down every weekend like it was last time I tried to use it (to catch a train, that I was late for anyway, gah!).

But I still want to blame Ken, is that ok?

It's OK.

I still like him. I'm not sure why, exactly.

You're his secret identity?

He's your secret identity?

I like him, I think. I just don't think he's done as good a job as he could've, has done some really stupid things and is basically running for reelection on a "I haven't done a shit job" ticket, as anyone could've "made London better" given the powers he's got.

Which basically puts him down in my estimation, because if your main campaign point is "it could've been worse" then it should've been better. Ah well. Not living there anymore, so I get to play psephologist instead of campaigner (two friends are on Brian's election team).

I might be more forgiving were I seeing any sign of these mooted 'improvements' when lines and stations reopen.
