Which, if you want to brave some truly awful Flash abuse, can be seen here
Death looks bloody good, of course. If fact, all the production design looks Discworldy. I adored Hogfather
for just that reason: it looked
right, which the Cosgrove Hall productions sadly lacked. It had magepunk down
, and I really believed it was set on the world a part of my brain has lived on for the last decade or more.So I'm glad to see that's staying constant, and I know I'll enjoy the adaptation.
Uh, assuming someone tapes it for me. I have Virgin.
Death also sounds
perfect - I have nothing against Ian Richardson, but he's no Christopher Lee. Tim Curry also: perfect. And the rumours that the Patrician is being played by Jeremy Irons
make me warm in my happy places.
Still a little confused by David Jason and Nigel Planer: is there something in their contracts that says they must be in every Sky One Discworld adaptation ever? I mean, I love them both, but are they really necessary? Planer I can deal with because he fits the Discworld Wizard archetype, but I've yet to be convinced by Jason-as-Rincewind.
And then - Sean Astin. Oh, Sean Astin. It's not his fault he's white, so I can't hate him for it, but it's just...
...he looks like a white Masi Oka
And that's what I'm going to think every time I see it.
