This afternoon I spent some time learning to use Access software in the library: the ATLAS video magnifier
. It was interesting and informative, I'm glad I know they're there, and I kind of want to find an excuse to work with them and a visually impaired person.
Of course the reason I gave the librarian for wanting to know all about these things was
my supervisor might be able to make use of them
, because it's a little embarrassing to say
I just think that I should know everything about accessibility in order to be a better person
, and frankly there was no way I could say
I'm writing a story about a woman who loses the use of both her eyes.
But uh, guess which motivated me more?
