While I absolutely adore dressing up, actual hobby cosplayers never fail to put me to shame; probably because I'm happy to stick a leather biker jacket over a shop bought leotard and call it a costume. I always intend to do more, but I'm too lazy sometimes. And as I spend my time helping at the stall, I've never seen a Maskerade or otherwise participated in cosplay so I have no idea what else people get up to.
Anyway, I still managed to get a few photos, and it was great to see a Batgirl who at least seemed to understand why it was so important to have a Black Canary-Batgirl photo. The Green Arrow was more impressed that I recognised her costume to express recognition as to who this woman in fishnets was.
In general, it was awesome to be in an environment in which wearing nothing but a leotard and fishnets seemed the most natural thing in the world. Now I just need to source some four way stretch vinyl and get to making a modern costume.
