I'm trying to train myself off using words like 'evil' to describe things rather than actions, and especially not to use strong words like that in hyperbole. So maybe I can't say that "AIDShealing.org" is an evil website, but after some thought on the matter, I am quite convinced that I can break my blogging silence and state categorically that I think it is an evil thing to exploit people in a desperate circumstance to sell homeopathic treatments not just for AIDS, but also for rape.
It sells cures for rape. And I think that is a evil thing to do. (Check the order page and scroll down. It's at the bottom.)
I genuinely don't have the time or available energy to properly go into why homeopathy is complete and utter bollocks. This would likely be preaching to the converted in this journal, and if it isn't, then I invite someone to provide links to some actual evidence that it actually works - I've never seen any and the burden on proof is on the homeopaths in this case.
It is, admittedly, harmless in that it is just water, and contains nothing that can harm the takers. But capitalising on someone's trauma, selling a treatment under false pretences, and telling people who have been raped that they have a disease you can cure - that is despicable.
