- You guys know me well. On the guess-the-pairing meme from last night, only two remain unguessed. So I'ma rewrite them for you.
4. He pretends it's for the money; he's just a big pussy. Together they do crime.
14. A long-distance relationship in space. She dumped him for the boss's son.

Comment and I'll give you three fandoms, for which you must answer these:
01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Lauren landed me with DC, Buffy and Red Dwarf.
DC ComicsWhat got you into this fandom in the first place?
has to take some of the responsibility for her roleplaying of Stephanie Brown, really it was rushin_doll
who turned up with an Oracle, and made me say "wait, Barbara Gordon is in a wheelchair now?" He pushed the complete run of Birds of Prey
on me, and before I knew it I was tracking down the back catalogue for everything those girls had been in. I read Nightwing
, and Green Arrow
and Justice League
and then realised I loved writers like Gail Simone and Greg Rucka, and from then on there was no escape.Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
It's too early to say, but there's so much still to read and it's not like the comics are going to stop. They might get crap, like with Green Arrow/Black Canary, but then writers can change and move around, and I'll always have the extensive back catalogue and there'll always be people who love Batman.Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
. OKNo Man's Land
(Bat Books); Villains United
(Secret Six); Of Like Minds
and Sensei and Student
(Birds of Prey); Quiver
and The Archer's Quest
(Green Arrow); Half a Life
(Gotham Central); Go
(current Batwoman arc in Detective Comics); The Circle
Year Ones: JLA, Batgirl, Green Arrow, Black Lightning
DCAU: Mayhem of the Music Meister
and The Cat and the Canary
Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
On and off, as mcuh as I participate in any fandom. I roleplay two DC characters in milliways_bar
and another two in shatterverse
. Occasionally I make icons, and I definitely blog and read reaction posts, and occasionally hang around scans daily
and When Fangirls Attack
Oh, and I have a half written Black Canary: Year One
on GDocs, and the Chiraptora AU lying around.Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
Oh yes, if only to stop me looking like a crazy fanboy when I start babbling about Batman. There really is pretty much something for everyone, and I can never recommend Detective Comics
and Secret Six
to enough people.
Buffy the Vampire SlayerWhat got you into this fandom in the first place?
I was really into vampires as a teenage wannabe goth, and I'd just had a major falling out with the Anne Rice books on account of them actually being kind of shitty. I was also an avid reader of SFX magazine where I learned that there was a new TV show based on that terrible movie starring that bloke off the Nescafe ads. So I watched the pilot when it aired on the BBC - getting in on the ground floor, kind of.Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Proabably stay. I've come this far, already, I want to know what happens, dammit!Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?The Puppet Show; Earshot; Tabula Rasa; Hush; Lovers Walk
; No Future for You
; The Chain
.Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Aside from RPing Mel in a number of places - not really. I'm willing to discuss the show and comcis with anyone how will listen, but I got into the show while I was in a non-fannish place, and I'm happy enjoying it on my own.Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
I feel that, at this point, everyone either likes Buffy
or they don't. I sometimes fall into the trap of thinking that the non-fans just don't understand
the point of the show, but I know that's not the case. Either you like a story about a girl growing into a woman that uses the fantasy genre as a metaphor for real life, or you don't.

My Dad, actually, watched it a lot when it was first on. I grew old enough to sit and watch post-watershed TV with my parents at about the same time as season VI was airing. Shortly after, BBC2 mainlined I through VI on Firday nights, and I watched it on my first ever bedroom TV. I became hooked quickly.Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
In a way, I have moved on. I don't much air for the seasons from VII onwards, and while I have all the DVDs, I have many of the shows more or less memorised, so I don't feel the need to watch them all that often.Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?Confidence and Paranoia
, Parallel Universe
, Back to Realty
, Gunmen of the ApocalypseDo you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
Absolutely not. Sorry, RD-fandom participants on my flist, but at the height of my RD obsession I encountered fanfic and the concept of slash and it turned me off RD fandom forever, as Rimmer/Lister is one of my absolute no-go ship areas. It also doesn't help that I don't like anything from VII onwards. Still, I think that I write a pretty mean Lister.Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?
I think that anyone who hasn't seen an episode of this should sit through at least one. Then, if you don't like the very British sitcom of it all, you can walk away having given it a go.
