Also hooray Parks and Rec! I don't have a lot of friends who watch it so this is exciting. I just want to hug Leslie.
Basically I think it's an awesome movie.
And I'm really enjoying Parks and Rec! I started on season two following recommendations, and I think all the characters are great.

I think it's worth going back and watching season one later, just for additional character stuff (mostly with Ann and Andy), but yeah, starting with season two was a good call. It's such a sweet show.
I really liked Hearts & Minds too, especially because I loved the Shayera & John dynamic. Though since I've never been much into the GL comics, I'm not sure if they butchered the characterization of Katma Tui or not.
You're making me want to get my JL and JLU DVDs out again :)
What did you think of Tangled?
I don't know anything about comics Katma Tui, but I did like her in this. At least she dont' a real characterization which is more than AU Star Sapphire has (what IS her deal, anyway?)
Tangled is one of my all time favourite Disney Princess movies for many many reasons, but mostly because Rapunzel is one of the few princesses to get almost complete agency, driving the plot with her own decisions. And both Pascal and Maximus are awesome animal companions.
The only thing I know for sure about comics Katma Tui was that she and John Stewart got married and had a pretty good romance from what I know. So I can see where fans of her from the comic might have felt ripped off. However, I just adored John and Shayera so much and I thought that Katma Tui was an interesting character and was used well as they used her.
The Star Sapphire thing was kind of cheap. She was just a background villain in a few of the later JLU episodes too. She didn't get characterization at all. Which is a shame because she's a pretty interesting character from what I've seen of her in other media. (though not the GL live action movie. BAH)
I really did like Tangled too. I like that Disney is getting better about their princesses and giving them more girlpower, for lack of a better word. Mulan was pretty amazing for that as well.
Also if you are on a Jane Austen kick, book of the week on 4 is all about her. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006qftk
It reminds me more of Jonathan Creek than any Doyle adaptation I've seen, and that's no bad thing!
Cheers for the BotW recommendation. It's more an obsession with P&P due to Lizzie Bennet, but I will give it a listen.
Jonathan Creek? Might have to give it a try then.
